REPORT OF CAPACITY BUILDING PROGRAM

The student teachers of KUCTE Kunnam had celebrated world water day as part of capacity building program on March 22nd 2022.Through this program each one of the student teachers got the oppurtunity to develop their skills by participating in various programs. This program was conducted as part of the curriculum for the first year B. Ed  students. The name of program was " JEEVANA" which means living. Our respected principal Dr. Shanthi. S. Rajan hold the position of program General convenor and Mrs.Hena B, Assistant professor in General education was program co- ordinator.  Athul. K ( social science optional) and Silpa sathyan ( Physical science optional) were the student co- ordinators. Program was started by 1:30  pm at college auditorium. The program had a blissful start with melodious prayer by student teacher Shehina. S. R ( Malayalam optional). Aswathy Nair ( Mathematics optional ) was given Welcome speech and Presidential address was done by Vrindha.J (Natural science optional ). Our college union chairman Abhimanyu. S ( Physical science optional ) inagurated the function by lighting the lamp and he gave a good speech about the importance of Water day.  Sangeetha. R. P ( social science optional) was given the Key note address. Felicitation speech was done by Arshada. N. Noora ( Natural science optional) and Jayalekshmi. S ( Mathematics Optional).  Athul.K delivered the Vote of thanks.

Later a paper presentation based on importance of water was conducted. Five student teachers from various optional presented papers. It was followed by a Quiz competition.  At the end of function a mime act was performed about the careless handling of water resources and the future problems. I also became the part of mime. Through this I have improved the co- operation and collaboration abilities.

The program was conclude by 3 pm. Our program was a complete success.
