SECOND PHASE OF TEACHING PRACTISE

TEACHING PRACTICE PHASE 2 (June 12- June 16)

Monday

The first day of teaching practice phase 2. Five of us ,Shini from Malayalam, Devika from Mathematics, Arshadha from Natural science, Vidhya from Social Science and I was allotted to Govt  Vocational  Higher Secondary School, Mavelikara.

I have reached the school by 09.30 am and met the headmistress in charge and gave them the letter from our college to her. We have signed the register. There was a morning assembly conducted by 9th std students.  Today was  Anti child labour day. Children display posters and placards. I had  one class today; 8A on first period. I have taken the introductory topic  on  Motion in 8th. We had participated in mid-day meals programme to serve food to the children. The school time was up to  4 pm and we left the school by 4.15pm.

Tuesday 

I have reached the school by 09.30am and signed the register. I had first period,  Chemistry in 8A. I have introduced  Elements and compounds.We have participated in mid-day meals programme to serve food for the children also. During free time I have done my record works too. The school time was up to 4pm and we left the school by 4.10pm.

14.06.2023

Wednesday 

I have reached the school by 09.30am and signed the register. I had only one period in 8A during fourth hour. I have introduced a new concept to them; ' Reference body'.I have used videos and images to explain the concept to them. We had participated in mid-day meals programme to serve food for the students. Helped teachers to prepare mathematical calendar. During free time I have done my record works also.  The school time was up to 4pm and we left the school by 4.10pm.

Thursday

I have reached the school by 09.30am and signed the register. Assembly starts at 9:45 am. Today was Elder abuse awareness day. Children displays poster related to this.I have first period on 8A. I have taught the  topic Origin of elements from chemistry. I have used chart, videos, and images to explain the concepts to the students. During free time I have done my record works. The school time was up to 4pm and I have left the school by 4.10 pm.

Friday

I have reached the school by 09.30am and signed the register. I have done my record works during free time. I had no classes today. We have helped in mid-day meals programme to serve food for the children. After lunchbreak , we have helped the students  to conduct assembly on coming Monday. From 2.00pm onwards there was PTA meeting for the entire school. The school time was up to 4 pm and we left the school by 4:10 pm.
